11.01.2022 It's Halloween! Originally a Celtic celebration, jack-o'-lanterns were once carved out of turnips and potatoes. It wasn't until Irish immigrants took the tradition to the Americas that they discovered the native vegetable perfect for carving lanterns.

08.01.2022 Unlike our small insect friends that produce honey, the Ascot Kinder working bee does work in the rain! It looks like the weather will be dry tomorrow for our meet-up but there are plenty of indoor jobs to do even if it is wet! Drop by the kinder from 9-11 and help keep the kinder clean and safe for our kids.

04.01.2022 Information on Kinder Applications: Apply for four-year-old programs from Monday, 2 March to Friday, 29 May 2020. Families will be advised of initial offers by the end of July. Apply for three-year-old programs from Monday, 1 June to Friday, 31 July 2020. Families will be advised of initial offers by the end of September. Places for both three and four year old kinder at Council and participating community-managed centres are allocated through the Moonee Valley Council Central Registration Service.
