24.01.2022 Day 3 of our ASDESI Kids Klub was a day at the cinema! The kids arrived to the house and the girls got their hair braded, afterwards they all got to make delicious cupcakes and pizzas and play Wii. Everyone had a turn and loved learning to cook. After lunch they all headed to the Cinema’s to watch Spirit Untamed, what a good movie! They then returned back to the house, played some more Wii, ate some yummy afternoon tea and wrote their journal entries for the day. We always l...ove feedback, especially from the children. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the school holidays brings! 24.01.2022 ASDESI Kids Klub day 7 was a fun Cinema day followed by a picnic and play time in the park! The kids started off the day with some yummy pancakes for breakfast. After breakfast everyone made there way to the cinema and really enjoyed the movie! They then headed to the park for a picnic, some sports and play equipment. Everyone then headed back to base and enjoyed some wind down art time they got to colour in black and white pictures of themselves, getting creative with ne...w abstract colours. What a nice day out! 19.01.2022 Day 10 of June/July ASDESI Kids Klub. What a great school holidays it has been. Thank you to all the children who attended, these programs wouldn’t be the same without all of you. All the activities were greatly received, immensely enjoyed, and absolutely accomplished. After a challenge of a school holidays with COVID throwing a spanner in the works, we did it! On the final day of ASDESI Kids Klub we spent the day playing in house, playing at Berrima park, playing at Moss Val...e park and then the kids wanted help the support workers with some tidying up! They were the best helpers and the best to hang out with all school holidays. See you next time everyone, can’t wait! 15.01.2022 Day 5 of ASDESI Kids Klub was a nice calm day in house with some science and art! The kids spent the morning doing science experiments and making some yummy salted caramel cookies. Everyone then watched a movie for a bit of quiet time followed by a yummy lunch. After eating the kids completed some fun art projects with balloons! 12.01.2022 A lovely quiet day here at Kids Klub day 8. Today the kids began the day with some breakfast and a movie while we waited for everyone to arrive. They relaxed with some more movie time and then ventured to the shops for some art supplies. Once everyone was back to base we did some more of our black and white colouring in and did some arts and crafts with ping pong balls, the kids also played some fun games on the Wii. 12.01.2022 ASDESI Kids Klub day 2! Yesterday our Kids Klub ventured to Shoalhaven zoo for a fun day out. They saw peacocks, wombats, geese, lions, emus, horses and much more - they even got to feed the kangaroos! Everyone had so much fun and it was a beautiful day to be out and about looking at the animals. 12.01.2022 We had a really fun day yesterday for our first day of ASDESI Kids Klub. The kids went to the beautiful historic Berrima and had a great time doing Geocaching. 06.01.2022 Yesterday the kids went to The Venue to play with the arcade games! They spent the day playing games both electronic and board and playing some soccer outside some even got some guitar lessons from our support worker Cain. The kids had a really fun day playing air hockey, virtual reality games, car racing, basketball, defender, PlayStation, Xbox, and many more arcade games at this awesome venue. Everyone enjoyed a yummy pizza lunch and then went back to the house to write ...their reflections. What a super fun day! 06.01.2022 Another Awesome ASDESI Kids Klub school holiday program has come and gone, we would like to thank the KKKK Kollege of Knowledge Kommittee for Kids for their kind donation towards helping to keep this wonderful program running. ASDESI has been an incredibly beneficial program for many years now for children with Autism and other Neurodevelopmental Disorders as well as their families. The ASDESI program serves as a lifeline for these families during the school holidays particu...larly for those whose children struggle with mainstream vacation care. The growth of this program over the years comes as no surprise when children who attend this program learn social skills in a safe and friendly environment while participating in a large variety of educational and recreational activities throughout each school holiday matched by no other vacation care program in the Southern Highlands! Quoted from Harrison one of our long term ASDESI Kids Klub participants Thank you for another stupendous school holiday program, I can’t wait to return There were many tears shed as children were collected on the last day wishing they could attend ASDESI every day! Rest assured we will be returning in January 2021 for three full weeks of exciting adventures from a Dolphin Cruise at Jervis Bay to Sydney Zoo to Tree Tops Adventure Park and many more fantastic outings and activities. 05.01.2022 On day 4 of ASDESI Kids Klub we made our way to a local park and went on an incredible bushwalk through the Fern Forests of Fort Foot Falls. At the park they saw plenty of ducks and loved observing them go about their day. Afterwards they got out some canvases and spend some quality time sitting down and doing an artwork of their surroundings. After the park they all headed back to base to write their journal reflections from the day and then we wound down with a movie until ...their parents picked them all up. They had a wonderful day full of adventures, sightseeing, playing and creating artworks and the parents loved the beautiful pieces of art the kids got to take home with them.
