12.01.2022 Our two Space Camp students are still buzzing from their incredible experience at the International Space Camp 2019 held in July in Alabama. Sarah our 16 years old winner from NSW and Sean the 15 years old winner from QLD have shared their thrilling experiences with us below Sean told us that, attending the space camp of 2019 will easily be the most rewarding trip I have ever taken. I vividly remember sitting on my bed being very hesitant about applying, knowing the odds o...f actually going would be slim at best. But it was all worth it. We saw some structures that were truly a wonder to behold, from a full Saturn V separated into its phases suspended from the ceiling to the Pathfinder elegantly placed in the middle of the camp. Sarah, the other Space Camp student also told us that my trip to Space Camp, the most unforgettable and inspiring trip of my life. The experience I had at space camp was incomparable to anything in my whole life. It taught me more than I dreamed I would learn about space and NASA, problem solving, teamwork and hard work. It is an experience that I will never forget and will bring with me every day. None of this would have been possible without ASG allowing my dream to come true. The registration for the NEiTA Space Camp students 2020 will soon be open to all ASG members nominated beneficiaries. Keep an eye out on our page for more information on how to register your child to this once in a lifetime opportunity!
