24.01.2022 Today the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) announced a 15 basis point cut, taking the official cash rate to a record low of just 0.1%. If you have a mortgage, keep an eye out for news from your lender on rate cuts, if you don't hear anything or want to compare to the market please get in touch.

In short, the reforms will kill competition in the banking industry and hand power bank to the Big 4 lenders. This in turn will increase interest rates for all consumers and reduce the ability for consumers to find better deals to refinance.
