25.01.2022 We love observing the children connect with nature. Today they found a worm in the sandpit so relocated it to the garden and built it a home with sticks and leaves.

22.01.2022 We decided to make a scarecrow...the children planned how it might look. We thought about how we could make it, collected what we needed and then made our new addition to the garden.

20.01.2022 We love Science Week! It's a wonderful opportunity for hands on exploration, wonder, predicting and learning through play.

19.01.2022 We had a visit from our magpie friend this morning... It walked along the fence, onto the deck, back over and past the garden, through the boat, into the sand pit back in front of the deck then up onto a shade tent. We all had a chat about, just watching the magpie and not running towards it or yelling at it.. I think it likes our playground :)

09.01.2022 Today the children harvested some lovely vegetables that they helped to plant in May. We have kale, lettuce and rocket. We washed it carefully and had little taste.
