19.01.2022 In regards to the media release today from NSW Health that spectator numbers at community sporting events have been increased for this weekend. THIS DOES NOT AP...PLY TO OUR IWSNA NETBALL COMPETITION FOR ALL AGE GROUPS PLAYING ON THE ASPHALT COURTS. Wondering why it doesn't apply to IWSNA finals?? IWSNA received a special exemption from NSW Health in July 2020, to be able to run our competition in full by allowing us to have multiple sections of 500 people at each timeslot. We are already at the maximum 500 capacity allowed for each section, at each timeslot on the asphalt courts, and have been informed by NSW Health that we MUST NOT go over the 500 capacity limit. How does today's NSW Health announcement affect the final day of our Winter competition, this Saturday?? > There will be NO change to the game times or Entry/Exit times > There will be NO change to the court sections >There will be NO change to the number of spectators allowed per team, per game on the Asphalt courts > The number of spectators on the Modified Grass courts ONLY, can increase by 2 people per team (new total 20 per team, per grass-court ONLY) > No other changes will occur and compliance with our Safety Plan is required on our last day of Winter competition Please contact your club directly if you are unsure about any rules that will apply to Finals day.

We thank you all for your support and assistance during what was at times a difficult year, but we got there in the end! Registrations for the 2021 Winter Comp open on 4 January 2021. 12.01.2022 Our all inclusive Finals fixture is complete and available on our website or MyNetball app. This extra round provides first and second placing for each Divisio...n and gives all teams (except for some receiving a Bye) the opportunity to get one more game of netty in to finish off what has been an interesting season under the cloud of COVID-19. But we did it with tenacity; playing by the rules and sheer determination. Well done to everyone for your efforts - we were so grateful that we could continue to pound the courts and keep playing the best game in the world! Good luck for Saturday and don't forget - we're Netballers, we CAN do anything!

To the coaches Tara, Melissa, Chiara, Clare and John, the success of your teams is a reflection of the hard work and dedication that you have given throughout the season and on behalf of the players and parents we say a huge "THANK YOU."
