08.01.2022 Round 3 - What Happened! The round started off with another upset and it was a blow out again! Did anyone think the tipping season would start this way? Picking the winning team has become a mind field of unknowns. Mid round we were hit with the unfortunate news that one Essendon player tested positive for the Corona virus. In response to this the AFL announced they will be postponing the game until further notice.... What does this mean for us? All in all, not much, the season must continue and today ESPN Footy Tipping announced they have removed the game from the round and placed it as a bye! With all this being said we do have a winner for our intro competition. Well done to Pikey, who after 3 weeks of battle has come out victorious to win the $50 Debit Visa or Mastercard. You will receive a call from me to arrange your prize collection very soon. Podium Places At the end of 3 rounds, our competition leader remains Pilkey (18) with a margin of (86). Pikey is followed closely by Norfolk N Chance on (17) with a very healthy margin of (56). Rounding out our top 3 is Scott Wallrodt also on (17) tips with a margin (72). It is still a very close competition, with the top 50 only separated by 3 tips total. It is still anyones game and I expect fireworks as we get closer to seasons end.
