Department of Fire and Emergency Services WA said that as the sun set on the fourth day of "our battle against the Wooroloo bushfire" there were more than 300 firefighters from across WA at the fire ground working tirelessly to protect lives and homes. "Their hard work, and the work of support personnel behind the scenes, has helped to save over 200 properties which were in the line of fire," DFES said. "We're getting cooler temperatures with higher humidity over the next five days, which will certainly help," Superintendent Sutton said.
