05.01.2022 In response to the governments escalation of the COVID-19 precautionary measures today, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the remaining classes for Term 1 commencing today Monday 23 March. At Ashgrove Dance, we are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our students and staff at all times, and in light of the seriousness of this evolving situation, we think this is the only appropriate course of action at this time for the betterment of the commu...nity. We are devastated, as Im sure you are too. We know how much our students love our classes and we love coming to class and seeing their smiling faces each day. For now, we all need to do everything we can to flatten the curve, and slow the spread of the virus. We will be in touch before the end of the school holidays to let you know our plans for Term 2. We will also cancel the special week-end class this week with Anna, but depending on the situation may consider holding the classes scheduled for Sunday 19 and 26 April (To be confirmed.) We will send out some options for home practice for the Senior Girls, and you could download the RAD app to help. We thank-you for your understanding, and we wish good health for you and your family as we all walk together through this unprecedented challenge caused by the spread of the COVID-19. We appreciate your continued support. 03.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone. Stay safe

02.01.2022 Dear Parents and Students, Just a note to let you know how we are responding to the unfolding situation regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus. We are following the government advice very closely and monitoring the situation on a daily basis. Given that our classes are quite small at this time, all lessons will go ahead as planned. If things change and we need to close temporarily, we will notify you via email accordingly.... At this time, we will take extra precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all our dancers, and teachers. We will provide disinfectant wipes for students to access the toilets and provide hand sanitiser for all dancers and teachers. Where possible we will not use the barres for lessons, and do the barre work in the centre However if barre work is needed we will clean the barres with disinfectant wipes just to be sure. If you are unwell, we must ask that you do not attend classes at this time. If you would prefer not to attend classes at this time, we understand and respect your decision. We need to be cautious, but we must not give in to fear. We will keep calm and carry on. Lets be responsible and hope the situation does not escalate.
