19.01.2022 MESSAGE TO MEMBERS RE CORONAVIRUS: The Ashgrove Calisthenics Club Committee are closely monitoring the rapidly evolving situation with Coronavirus. Acting on information and advice from the Department of Health and our governing body Calisthenics Victoria Incorporated, classes remain as normal for now. We will update all members if or when this situation changes in the coming days and weeks. If there is any potential reason that you/your child should not attend class (i.e. re...cent overseas travel or possible contact with Coronavirus), then please contact your Coach or the Club directly. During classes, all students are encouraged to use hand sanitiser and hand soap readily available at the Ashburton and Glen Iris Uniting Church facilities. It is also highly recommended that pupils bring their own drink bottles, tissues and other personal supplies as required. Please read the following announcement from C.V.I. regarding the current implications to our sport. Further updates will be forwarded as they become available. 14.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE This afternoon, there have been State and Federal Government announcements around the current restrictions. We are currently working on our fram...ework for returning to calisthenics classes in the coming months, and will provide updates around this as soon as it is finalised. The return to classes will be gradual, with many restrictions to remain at each stage. We will provide as much notice to coaches, clubs and performers as possible to allow for preparation for this. In the meantime, restrictions are still in place and we ask our community to act responsibly and stay safe. All calisthenics classes and practice should remain online and from home until further notice.
