24.01.2022 The biggest birds nest we ever did see! Maggie- I have a birds nest at home. Fletcher - it’s a baby house April- a giant bird made this nest, with giant feathers! Olivia- I have a nest at my house, it’s so the little chicks are safe.

16.01.2022 Continuing with children’s interest in Aboriginal culture and learning about variety of cultures around us, we looked together, educator and child, at symbols used by Indigenous people. Can you make a story using symbols?

16.01.2022 In the nursery. Frozen mint leaves, handpicked and gently tied up lavender flowers, some glitter, loose parts and tongs! An invitation for play and learning. Supporting sensory development through touch and smell, fine motor skills by using tongs and untying the ribbons on lavender sticks.

13.01.2022 Sensory exploration in the Nursery today, helping brain development and bridging the nerve connections as they play. Sensory materials like these creates hands-on, self directed, self centred play and appeals to children who have different learning and thinking styles. So much fun.
