So, we now need your help with volunteering. Please check the roster and send us a message if you can help this Saturday or in future weeks. https://www.parkrun.com.au/ashgrove/futureroster/

16.01.2022 Return to parkrun after a covid hiatus.

16.01.2022 We are all set for tomorrow morning. Do you need to wear a mask at parkrun tomorrow? It’s optional, however Qld Health advises you must carry a face mask with you at all times when you leave home, unless you have a lawful reason not to. It is strongly recommended you wear a mask outdoors when you cannot physically distance. ... Please also be mindful of the parkrun COVID framework. You can sign in now using the QR code below or we will have the QR code there tomorrow. Special thanks to our wonderful volunteers. We almost have a full roster with the exception of a photographer. If you are able to step up and take on this role, please comment below or send us a private message. If you are volunteering, please make sure you have downloaded the parkrun volunteer app and your phone is charged. First timers brief will be at 6:55am with the run brief at 6:58am. Looking forward to seeing you all then.

16.01.2022 Ashgrove parkrun is confirmed a go for this Saturday. Path will be finished and ready!! Part of the Qld government conditions for parkrun reopening, was that each event has a QR sign in code for contract tracing. This code will be displayed at the event, but to help avoid queues and maximise social distancing, we encourage users to sign in from their phone or computer before arriving at the venue or after their run.... For users who cannot scan a QR code, you also use the link https://www.parkrun.com/trace/pnp Remember, this is only for Ashgrove parkrun, other events have their own codes.

16.01.2022 As we get closer to restarting Ashgrove parkrun, there are a few covid safe rules that need to be followed by participants and volunteers upon reopening. There are two codes, one for our walkers and runners, and one for our volunteers. Check them out below

15.01.2022 Following guidance provided by Queensland Government, all events in the Greater Brisbane area will be cancelled this weekend. Please respect the lockdown restrictions, safety comes first and we hope to return next week.

15.01.2022 Want to help out by volunteering at this Saturday's parkrun? You'll get to wear a hi-vis vest! If you're keen to hand out the finish tokens, or barcode scanning we are desperate for volunteers! Please get in touch with us by responding to this post, private message, or via email https://www.parkrun.com.au/ashgrove/futureroster/

We will have contact registration codes available at the event, but you can register from home with code below

02.01.2022 People may have seen the exciting news from parkrun Australia last night. All Queensland events are able to start operating again from the 28 November. BUT, put your party hat down, council is currently working on widening the path along Enoggera Creek, and the area will be closed for approximately 5 weeks. This may delay Ashgrove parkrun from reopening, but we will post any details here, so stay tuned. There will be a few small changes to the way events are run, such as dis...tancing requirements and sign-ins, and once we have details we will let you know. See the parkrun Australia announcement here http://parkrun.me/2x5zi
