15.01.2022 It is always a pleasure having the lovely Frank and Margaret O'Hare come into the practice for a visit Did you know that Frank started this practice nearly 68 years ago, making Ashgrove West Dental the oldest family owned business in the Western suburbs of Brisbane Frank retired in 1993 after 40 years of practice, now John is about to enter is 41st year of working here at Ashgrove West Dental!

14.01.2022 Ashgrove West Dental would like to introduce our newest member to the team, Dr Nina Ong! Dr Nina Ong graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Master of Dentistry. She was awarded the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence for each year of her dental studies as well as the A-Dec Award for Excellence in Simulation Laboratory. Nina has been working in the dental industry for over 15 years, working in all aspects of the dental fie...ld until becoming a dentist herself. Although born and bred in Brisbane, Nina has also lived in Far North Queensland where she worked for government clinics and school dental vans. Nina enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with particular interests in paediatric dentistry and endodontics. She has a gentle approach to dentistry and holds the belief and expectation of delivering the best quality work for her patients. Nina is of Vietnamese heritage and can speak fluently in both Vietnamese and English. Perhaps the only thing that comes close to her passion for dentistry is her love for cooking, particularly creating traditional Vietnamese dishes for her young family. Her toddler son enjoys helping her cook and of course eating all the authentic Vietnamese dishes she makes. Nina will be working with us in the new year, and will also have available appointments on Saturdays

02.01.2022 Our dentists at Ashgrove West Dental have donated a portion of our January proceeds to the Australian bush fire appeals. We are proud to announce that $900 has been donated to those affected by the fires Half will be going to Country Fire Authority (VIC), and the other half to a family who were previous patients of our practice that tragically lost their home in the fires. We hope our contribution has made a small difference

02.01.2022 We are happy to announce the safe arrival of Jacinta and Keith's beautiful baby girl. Mum and bub are doing very well! Keith will be taking some leave over the next few weeks to spend time with his new bundle of joy and will be back early October to continue seeing his patients
