13.01.2022 You’ve probably noticed my interaction has been a little quiet lately, life has been a busy and i’ve needed some time to not only address other priorities in my life but to also re-evaluate what it is that I want Ashlar & Lime to be. For those of you who don’t know me, i’m 26 years old and work full-time as a Paramedic. I live in the Adelaide Hills with my gorgeous little family of three, and I can’t get enough of my family and friends. I have a serious addiction to coffee an...d love to just appreciate all the good things in life! I have always been driven to follow every single one of my little, sometimes crazy, dreams, and that’s where Ashlar & Lime began. Ashlar & Lime has grown gradually over the past two years, and to all those that have helped me, purchased from me, or supported me in any way, thankyou! You will never know how much that has meant to me, and how much a simple like or follow does! But as we as humans do, I found myself continually comparing myself and my business to others. I felt like I could never be as good as them and this lack of confidence in who I was and what I was doing meant I needed some time away. After some serious thinking, a little bit of planning, and a huge dose of self-love, I realised that I didn’t want Ashlar & Lime to be like anyone other boutique - that all I want it to be is a unique, successful, small business. Focusing on this has given me a whole new love for this business, and with this love came perspective. I realised that we are all different and that not everyone is going to love what I do as much as I do and that is okay. I stopped comparing and then also realised there are people that are going to love what I do because I am different, and this is exactly what I want this business to be! So here is my very first post of a refreshed Ashlar & Lime, shot in my little place in the world with some absolutely amazing local businesses and some incredible girls! X See more
