24.01.2022 More cardboard gingerbread making today. We also read The Gingerbread Man story. The children loved listening to the story and asked me to read it again.

23.01.2022 A BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JHETT! Jhett turns 4 today!

21.01.2022 This mornings sensory activity, the children used yoghurt lids to decorate a Christmas tree. The children are loving this and it has kept them busy and stimulated for a long time. This activity has given the children the opportunity to use their imagination and creativity as well as test their sharing skills as they all play together having to share all of the lids with each other.

13.01.2022 This morning Jhett pretends to work at an ice cream shop. I ask Edie if she would like some ice cream and ask if she would like chocolate or strawberry. ‘Strawberry ice cream’ Edie says. Jhett says he only has vanilla so Edie orders a vanilla ice cream. Jhett pretends that the toys are ice cream and hands it over to Edie. ‘Here you go one vanilla ice cream’ he says. ‘Is it yummy?’ I ask Edie. ‘Want more’ says Edie as she pretends to lick her ice cream. The children enjoy playing this game and using their imagination.

05.01.2022 Some more number recognition with Radhya while we wait for the other children to arrive. First Radhya reads the numbers in order then I point to random numbers for her to say. Radhya loves doing this and she does such a fantastic job!

01.01.2022 This morning I promised the children water play but when I went to connect the hose I realised the connector had broke, so I had to get innovative. surprisingly the children are having a lot of fun playing with the stream of water, filling and pouring and splashing each other.
