10.01.2022 Just completely my tribute to the Memphis Belle, a WWII USAAF B-17 heavy bomber. 324th Bomb Squadron. The pinup drawing was taken from the April 1941. The Lady in red was painted on the starboard side of the forward fuselage. On the port side she wore blue. I was inspired to recreate this WWII nose art, as a reaction to the destruction of history I see currently taking place.... I honour those who fought, regardless of what war. The servicemen & women, who served their countries. Those who fought & died for something greater then themselves. Never forgotten. See more
