16.01.2022 We had such a productive morning yesterday at Garden Club. The kids were learning all about starting a new garden and our strawberries and okra are flowering. Can't wait to taste those juicy strawberries. Happy gardening everyone!

14.01.2022 What a great week we have had in our Community Garden. The kids really enjoyed planting new seedlings (broccoli) and checking on our strawberries. They can't wait to taste the strawberries, but they are not ready yet! :) have a happy gardening weekend everyone!!!

12.01.2022 This is just some of the harvest from our Community Garden yesterday!The snow peas are so crisp and sweet! If you would like some free veggies from our garden, all you have to do is come and lend a helping hand on Tuesdays or Thursdays, between 8am to 11.30am, Ashmore State School, Warrawee Street gate. 10.01.2022 Thank you so much to all who came to lend a helping hand this morning in our community garden. We had the big task of fertilising, mulching and watering. A special thank you to Judy, Anne-Maree and Emma who were there as early as 7am. Great job guys!!

06.01.2022 What a fantastic show Totally Wild was yesterday! The kids were fantastic and our garden looked great! If you missed it, you should be able to watch it on the Totally Wild website. The show was called 'Food Revolution'. Great job Garden Clubbers! :)

06.01.2022 Had a fantastic morning at our Community Garden with all the kids. We have starting digging in our new garden bed 'smiley face garden'. In the middle will be our compost. Can't wait to see what's next.

05.01.2022 Sorry everyone! I have been away for a while. But I am back now and a great time last week back at the Ashmore Community Gardens.

04.01.2022 Had a great time last week with Garden Club. The kids are all back into it and excited about the year of gardening ahead. We potted up some strawberries, topped up one of our garden beds with mushroom compost and picked our harvest. Happy gardening everyone!

01.01.2022 What a fantastic day we had at the Ashmore State School fete with Judy and Ivan! We sold lots of plants and bags of Galangal and really enjoyed chatting with parents and having them see what the kids have been learning in the garden.

01.01.2022 What a great first day back at school! We had a wonderful harvest and one of our regulars made a fantastic dish with our ocra. Tasted it myself. Absolutely delicious! :)
