18.01.2022 We are looking for an experienced and motivated dental assistant to join our team at Ashmore Dentistry! Our dental practice has a highly professional and long-standing reputation in the local Ballarat and surrounding communities and is focused on an excellent level of patient care. We are seeking someone with experience, who can work with a positive and dedicated attitude to join our Practice.

17.01.2022 As Ballarat has once again moved to stage 3 Covid-19 restrictions, Ashmore Dentistry has also had to move to level 2 dental restrictions. As a result some procedures will need to be postponed and we are in the process of contacting patients who will be affected by these restrictions. Most routine dental treatment can still be performed under additional precautions as we aim to prioritise both our patients and staff’s health and safety. Thank you for your continued understanding and patience during these difficult times. If you have any queries about upcoming appointments or treatment please do not hesitate to call us on 5331 1959. Additionally if you are having any Covid-19 symptoms or are feeling unwell please call to postpone your appointment. Take care and stay safe, The team at Ashmore Dentistry

16.01.2022 Covid-19 Update The health and safety of our patients, families and our employees is a top priority, and our thoughts are with those impacted by the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic. Since it first surfaced, our team began to discuss how we can better protect our patients and employees. We have been monitoring the situation closely and taking every precaution to keep our patients and our community safe. With the effects of the outbreak being felt more each day, we... wanted to reach out and share what we have been doing so you can continue with your appointments with confidence. 1. Each evening our office is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised by our trusted cleaning staff. 2. Each morning and at noon our front office team takes great care to wipe down the operatory rooms, reception chairs, door handles and any hard surfaces with antiseptic cleaners. 3. As always our dental team is prepared to do safe dentistry. Using the most up to date PPE (personal protective equipment) including gloves, masks and protective eyewear at all times. 4. If you or someone you have been in contact with has travelled overseas recently or if you have any of the following symptoms: - High temperature - Cough - Sore throat - Shortness of breath We advise you postpone your appointment until your symptoms have resolved to protect our patients, staff and local community. 5. We're encouraging everyone, to use common-sense, such as frequent hand washing or using alcohol-based hand sanitiser with at least 60 percent alcohol to stay healthy. Hand sanitiser will be available at the front entrance and in the waiting room for our patients All of these safeguards and precautions are made with you in mind. They are based on recommendations from local, state, and federal health officials whose experts are working tirelessly to safeguard our health. We will continue to follow guidance from health agencies and government officials to maintain a safe and engaging dental experiences for everyone. Thank You, The Team at Ashmore Dentistry

05.01.2022 It's with great difficulty that we have decided to close Ashmore Dentistry for any non essential dental treatment as of Wednesday the 25th of March. Providing a healthy and safe environment for our customers and team members is always our highest priority. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been closely monitoring and acting on recommendations from the authorities with increased cleaning, social distancing and a strong focus on hygiene. Due to new restrictions and rec...ommendations from the Australian Dental Association, we as a business feel an ethical obligation to protect our loyal customers, loved team members and to do our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19. We are now following guidelines that involve deferring any dental treatment that can wait 4-6months such as regular check and cleans, minor & major fillings, root canal treatment, crowns and any cosmetic treatment including Orthodontics. We are still here to help you with any emergency treatment involving pain. This will be assessed accordingly by our experienced team. Please be patient as we have to structure our day to include more time to practice safely. Best mode of communication at the moment for emergency treatment is by telephone on (03) 5331 1959. Otherwise all non urgent enquiries can be by email at: [email protected] Take care and we will see you on the other side, Ashmore Dentistry Family.
