22.01.2022 THE FISH CLUB IS COMING TO ASHMORE PALMS! We're excited to have our first food truck coming to Ashmore Palms!!! The Fish Club is a gourmet food truck that sells fresh fish, chips, burgers and other delicious foods, using fresh, local ingredients. Their menu includes barramundi, beer battered cod, crumbed cod, calamari rings, fries, scallops, sweet potato, crumbed prawns, pineapple fritters, vegetarian dim sims, dagwood dogs, beef burgers, fish burgers and vegetarian... halloumi burgers. Plus, there's also a kids menu available, with a choice of nuggets, calamari, fish bites and dagwood dogs. 17.01.2022 Our brush turkeys are starting to build their nests again. Brush turkey nests or mounds are the size of a car and are made up of soil and plant material. Built by the males to attract a mate, theyre essentially large compost heaps. They take the hard working male about a month to create. These mounds generate a huge amount of heat and thats what incubates the eggs. When the chicks have left the nest the leftover mound is a perfect bit of compost for humans to spread out over the garden. We look forward to seeing you and your family at Ashmore Palms soon! :)
