23.01.2022 Steering wheel upgrade to a Hyundai Accent, notice the fancy leather stitching. All of the steering wheel controls remain fully functional.

15.01.2022 Roadside assistance is very handy if you break down. Issues can’t always be fixed on the side of the road but at least you know that the cost of the tow will be covered to get to the workshop. Even as mechanics, we aren’t exempt from a breakdown. Our workshop Subaru WRX experienced an electrical fault causing it to cut out whilst driving. ... It’s well maintained but with 420,000 klms on it now and being 25 years old, things do fail. All back on the road now though.

14.01.2022 Upgrading the front suspension in this 150 series Prado to a Dobinsons IMS setup. The original upgraded suspension was getting tired and little bouncy. All ready for a trip at Christmas time now!

11.01.2022 Another Ford Falcon for a set of rear differential bushes. This repair is completed same day for your convenience.

09.01.2022 Holden Cruze oil cooler replacement. Symptoms include an external oil leak and oil in the cooling system. Long term this will ruin the structural integrity of the cooling system hoses and cause flow issues. ... It’s important to notice the early signs and address the problem.

08.01.2022 At Ashmore RWC & Autotmotive, we fix power window issues. This particular vehicle is a Subaru liberty. The initial issue here is with the switch jamming, it then causes overheating of the window motor.

08.01.2022 Another Dobinsons Lift kit completed. This one had the IMS (internal monotube shock) front struts and Twin Tube Rear shock absorbers along with new springs. The original suspension was sagged & bouncy.

07.01.2022 It’s only 8 weeks until Christmas (sorry it had to be said) Time to start thinking about getting that service or repair done before it gets too late. We will be closed from the 24th Dec until the 4th January.... Currently we are working on approximately 1 week notice for bookings but this usually increases as Christmas approaches. Consider making that appointment to avoid disappointment.

05.01.2022 Another Dobinsons lift kit installed. This one is a near new 2020 Mitsubishi Triton MR. Both customer and ourselves are very happy with the results. There’s less than 4 weeks now until we close up for the Christmas break!

02.01.2022 This video shows a wheel bearing that is in urgent need of replacement. The vehicle is a VE Commodore, rear bearing. Symptoms were a loud noise that worsened with speed and rear end of the vehicle feeling very loose.
