25.01.2022 So today is the new start of the racing season and also the ponies birthdays. A big happy birthday to our 4 legged best friends. Hoping this season can continue with the success, great people and creating many more memories. Just a few little picks of the times we had in 2019/2020

24.01.2022 We just got some sad news that our tough little mare, Dane's Jewel had a paddock accident over the weekend and was un-able to be saved. She was a tough little thing. Won 9 races and placed on multiple occasions. Her career highlights were winning Cattlemans Cup ( Warren), 2 consecutive Cotton Cups and 2nd in it the 3rd year (Warren) and a Forbes Cup. Robyn Freeman, Ken Dunbar and Michael Travers rode her in the majority of her racing career. With 2 offspring to her name, I hope we can do her proud. RIP Bec. You didn't deserve to go like that. As Col Hodges (race caller) always said, " as game as a bulldog" and "the horse everyone would love to own".

23.01.2022 A good start to racing at the home track today. Abraded finally wins his maiden. Lucky he is a big boy, because he only just got their winning by 0.03. Just is better than nothing. Thanks to Grant Buckley for the ride. Abraded made you earn every cent. Also congratulations to his owner David Simpson and Will Stanley who rides all his track work. Great job. Then Ash rides Narrow Neck Nelson in the 2000m Cl1/Mdn. He ran 4th on an unsuitable wet track. Good job Ash.

23.01.2022 Twice the value wins her second race today at mudgee. This little mare is getting better and better, she has always shown us a lot of potential and things are finally starting to pay off for her. She would be doing her mum very proud (Dane's Jewel)

22.01.2022 As most of you know, I have moved my racing stables to wellington. It's a lovely environment for the horses, and they are enjoying every bit of it. Since the move we have only had a little team of horses, but now slowly growing again. Our recent winner (twice the value) and daughter of our queen (Dane's jewel), has shown us so much potential and we are excited for her future

20.01.2022 It would have been warmer in the snowie mountains yesterday than in Narromine. But not even the cold, wet, miserable day could take the smile off Ash's face after she rode Harrieta to win the 1300m maiden for our local trainers, Don & Andy Ryan. Congratulations Ash, Don & Andy, all the Ryan family and of course Harrieta.

14.01.2022 The heavy 10 at coonabarabran provided a very nice second and third for our 2 girls today. Not negotiating being as honest as ever fought on so hard for a gutsy second, just needed a few more strides. And everybody's favorite the big girl, the long run. She's back!!! And what a race she ran today, running an enormous third in the sprint race.

13.01.2022 A big happy birthday to Peter today. We hope you have a great day and get a winner

13.01.2022 The long run wins her 8th career win at narromine yesterday. Due to Ashleigh being out for injury it gave Peter's grandson, Dylan Stanley the opportunity to ride his first winner as an apprentice jockey. Another special moment for our stable. Congratulations to Dylan for giving her a great ride

11.01.2022 I think Abraded( left) will enjoy his spell with his new friend, Dancer the trotter, and the great view they have.

11.01.2022 It’s absolutely mind boggling if you think about it. Your horse gets absolutely nothing out of being competitive for you. Not a darn thing. Of course horses ar...e bred for specific jobs, or they’re bred to be athletic to a certain degree. However, horses don’t wake up thinking about chasing cans, or cows, or flying over jumps. They have no idea how much money is added to the pot. They have no idea that this is a qualifier. They have no idea that this is the short go. And DESPITE us... DESPITE our nerves, our flaws, our incorrect ques, our huge emotions, they get the job done to their very best ability. Even when we fail them by letting our emotions get in the way, they come back and they try again. For US. Whoa. Let that sink in. If only we could all be so understanding. To think of an animal that is forgiving and flexible enough to put up with the repetition of practice, the intense nerves of the rider, the stress of hauling and still meet you at the gate for scratches is MIND. BLOWING. If you haven’t done so lately. Thank your horse. If you’re successful, thank the horses that put you there and made you. Thank the horses that gave everything they had for you simply because you ASKED them to. If you’re still on the journey to success, thank the horses that made you fall in love with your sport and who have helped give you the confidence to want to learn more and be better. We can never stop learning as horsemen and horsewomen, and by continuing our education every horse in our future will be better off. Next time you head to the arena leave your ego at the door and thank your horse! ~Samantha Roffers Pic of my ISH 5 year old, Kearney

10.01.2022 Pepita takes out the first today at Warren winning in nice style. We've only had this little mare for 3 starts now and she has shown us a lot of potential. Looking forward to seeing her improve.

07.01.2022 It's all happening at Tyers Park this morning.

07.01.2022 A beautiful day for a naked day today. Destiny Ambush showing off his lovely bathurst winter glow.

05.01.2022 A good day was had at dubbo today, bringing home a winner and a second from three starters. Twice the value running a very nice second and The long run and Ashleigh have again saluted in nice style, winning the rhino cup for her first start over the mile. These 2 have combined for every race start together, bringing home 7 wins out of 23 starts.

04.01.2022 A great day was had today at mudgee with a winner and a fourth from 3 runners. Not negotiating with Ashleigh Stanley in the saddle proved to good for them today, winning in nice style. Congratulations to the owners of this little mare, hopefully she brings us a whole lot more success. Pepita ran an ever consistent fourth and also congratulations to Peter's grandson today Dylan Stanley having his first ride in a race

04.01.2022 They must think it is a bit cold this morning. Don't know what they will do when it does get cold.

02.01.2022 Happy Birthday to all our horsie friends.

01.01.2022 Happy snaps from Gulgong!

01.01.2022 Yesterday at Warren provided one very memorable day as Peter and Ashleigh combined to win there first cotton cup together. Peter had previously won this race twice before with Dane's jewel, but yesterday's cup was a little bit more special than usual. Also being Ashleigh's biggest race to win so far. The 2020 cotton cup was taken out by the very fast finishing Not Negotiating, proving herself to be a very nice cups horse in the future. This honest little mare has shown us nothing but guts and determination. A very big congratulations to the owners of Not negotiating Micheal Johnston, Elise Johnston, and Peter stanley and Ash Stanley. Let's bring on bigger and better things
