25.01.2022 The best part about living in Brown Hill on a day where you need to run hills is that there is no shortage of hills. x4 x300m hill session complete and feeling pretty good!! Still feeling quite tight in gluts and lower back but looking forward to my 12km run tomorrow and 32km on Sunday to set a new bench mark for the furtherest I have ever run. ... Not long to go now.. 18.01.2022 As much as I hate running on a treadmill I can honestly say I didn't mind it and it's a great way to fit in a short hard run with high intensity. And of course you can cater for your own abilities This is the basic run down:- 90secs hard 90secs rest x2 60secs hard 60secs rest x3... 45secs hard 45secs rest x4 30secs hard 30secs rest x4 15secs hard 15secs rest x6 Yep ouch!!! 17.01.2022 As of Wednesday 26th of August I will be opening up positions for you all to enter my Charity Run on the 13th of September. I will be running 34km in training for the Melbourne Marathon on the 18th of October.. I will travel through a course which is 3.4km in total but i will run 10 laps. This will give all of you the opportunity to not only support me but support a local charity at the same time. Even running one lap at YOUR pace will be much appreciated. I'm not expecting ...thousands of people to come along but i wanna try and get as many of you followers there that i can. The charity i'm raising funds for is The SoupBus which is a local charity which help homelessness right here in Ballarat.. Here are the basics of what will happen anyways:- -Course will be 3.4km in total -The course will be flat and take around 20-22mins per lap :) -People can run a minimum of 1 lap and a maximum of 3 laps -A minimum of $20 per person is requested with ALL funds going directly to The Soup Bus, anyone wishing to donate more to the charity is welcome to -I will release a booking sheet where you can pop your name down next to which lap you would like to run (1-10) -I encourage all of you to spread the word as much as possible and try get as many people along as possible to raise awareness and also support my training. There will also be a sign up sheet in the coming days at On Track Fitness for anyone to pop their name down. I really hope we can get as many people along as possible to raise money for this great local charity and also support me along the way in training for my first marathon. 14.01.2022 Enjoyed my rest day yesterday and today I was back into it with 2km x3 with 2mins rest between each one and what magic weather for day 1 of spring Stayed very consistent over the duration of each km which I was wrapped about. Picture shows my first and last km just to give u an insight into how close my first and last km were. Apologies about the photo quality too. 05.01.2022 Well after 12-16 solid weeks of training today was the day. I finished with a time of 4hours 34mins. Everything went to plan although my pace was a bit off. My body has never ever experienced anything close to what I felt today and I truly surprised myself both physically and mentally. It truly was the hardest thing I have ever done I would like to thank my family and friends for all their love and support over the last few months. I would also love to thank my wonderful clients for supporting me through the journey this one is for you! Cheers everyone, now to regather my thoughts and focus on my next goal what ever that may be
