18.01.2022 She just keeps on giving ... as if her array of Royal Show Grand Champion ribbons and her Best of Breed at the Sydney Royal to finish her Show career, as well as producing her own Grand Champion females wasn't enough. The beautiful Ashwood Cara 1 presented us with twin bull calves on Friday night. She is a very good and proud Mum and we are very proud owners of this precious Cara line.

14.01.2022 So another Ashwood Cara has arrived this morning, first calf for her 2018 Brisbane Royal (Ekka) Grand Champion Cow Ashwood Cara 12. They’re both looking pretty pleased about it, as are we.

12.01.2022 So what a difference a lot of work and a couple of months makes. We’ve gone from some pretty ordinary paddocks to some lovely feed (and good fences!) for our first load of steers on the Taree property. They are now waiting for some mates to join them to share their table.

03.01.2022 Ashwood Cara 12, Grand Champion Female at the Royal Queensland Show today. Our Cara line just keeps on giving! Our little bulls also picked up Junior Champion and Reserve Junior Champions.

01.01.2022 So the drought made for a tough 2018 sale yesterday but we nevertheless enjoyed the good company of past, present and future buyers as well as family and friends. We did sell all of our heifers and some of our bulls - which of course means that we do still have some very good Ashwood bulls for sale once it starts raining!
