16.01.2022 We begin our 2021 journey on Monday night November 30 at 6pm at Essex Heights Reserve. We are still waiting on confirmation from AFL Victoria and the SFNL regarding the rules around adult training from November 23 onwards, and if anything does change, we will let you know. Training will certainly have COVID measures in place and we will inform the playing group of what this means as we get closer. All new players are welcome. We are extremely excited to build on what we had planned for 2020. We cant wait!

13.01.2022 It has been a very tough year for the world, our country and our state there is no doubt about it. Yes we care about footy and our football club means so much to many of us, but really, a footy club is such a small part and there is a much bigger picture in our lives. We don't want to dwell on this year too much and it is certainly hard to get a message across to everyone whilst trying to be mindful of this year and how it has affected so many. We just want to say, that we ho...pe everyone is doing well, are safe and healthy and can enjoy this Christmas break with loved ones. From a football club perspective, the club is in great shape and we are so excited for what 2021 holds. We have built a very solid platform so far and are confident that we are going to see many positives in the future. If you have been away from the club, it is a great time to get on board with us - really exciting times ahead. Please everyone stay safe over the break, hug your loved ones and we hope to see everyone in 2021! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Ashwood faithful!

Luke joins us from Belgrave Football Club from the strong AFL Outer East Senior Football League. Luke is a big, strong bodied midfielder/forward who has mainly played senior footy at Belgrave. Plenty of exciting things happening at the club- so stay tuned with more signings and updates in the coming weeks.

07.01.2022 We know it is very easy to just post a photo on Facebook regarding something that is so important in our society right now. Sometimes it can come off as disingenuous and to post for the sake of posting. But not for us. We do this because it is important to us and we love and care about our Ashwood Family, as well as the rest of the country. It has been a tough 2020, there is no doubt about that. Some people have genuinely been fine going through lockdowns and some have strugg...led more than others. There is nothing wrong with going through a tough time. We highly encourage our Ashwood family to make sure we ask the question of R U OK? to our loved ones, friends, family, colleagues, teammates. Never ever fear in approaching a friend, family member or even an Ashwood teammate if you are struggling and need someone to talk to. We are always here and aren't going anywhere.
