16.01.2022 The Moon festival went on as planned and was a great success. ABC radio broadcast and channel 7 reported the event. The Event was supported by many organizations. The theme of multi-cultural sharing has been realized. Modern art Traditional culture ‘Welcome to the country’ from Australian Aborigines Chinese Taoist worship... Concept Choreography Tai Chi Beach mermaid Flying dunhuang Hawaiian hula dancers The Tang dynasty beauty Brazilian drum Chinese drum DJ/ hip-hop Dragon and lion dance/martial arts Freestyle African drum & Belly dance Solo Parent-child collaboration sand castle wins grand prize; Children's Best Dressed Model competition is expected; Multicultural Performance & local famous DJ artist...... We have received a lot of business sponsorship, so that our event participants have a good reward. After the event, we got a lot of good comments from the audience. We get a lot of inquiries from local people. They are very interested in taijiquan sharing class and our handcraft sharing class. This fulfills the purpose of cultural communication in our activities. Although the weather on the day of the event is a major factor affecting the audience to attend the event. It was windy at Mooloolaba Beach because of the weather forecast and safety warnings broadcast on the morning news. But we did have a very enthusiastic audience that came in at 3:00pm and stayed until the event closed at 8:00pm. See more
