21.01.2022 2020 season done and dusted!! Was a tough season to start due to COVID but we made it through. We had a total of 8 events including RCN, NT Titles and a stand alone burnout comp. Such a successful season for the club. Winners for the season are as followed!! ... A fun opportunity for the ladies to show their racing skills and pop some tyres and to race your work vehicle for charity. The company car challenge costs $250 to enter as the money goes directly to Variety a children’s charity that supports children and families who are facing many challenges. ... 09.01.2022 Awesome night for our last drag event of the year. Queen of the Street and Company Car Challenge. Queen of the Street: We had over 10 ladies involved in drag racing and burnouts. Was so awesome to see them out giving it a go and killing it on the pad and strip. As we know Motorsport is a male dominated sport but now we are seeing more and more women get out there and give the guys a run for their money which is the best!! ... Company Car Challenge: This challenge is a special one as the money paid for entry went towards a charity. The charity we chose was Variety Club NT which is a children’s charity that support kids and families in need that are facing many challenges. We had 6 local business and that joined the challenge which was amazing and meant we raised over $1200. Thankyou to Baney Electrical, Centralian Motors, AutoFit 88, NH Body Works, Auto Sparky and Morton Bro’s for getting involved. Thankyou to our commitee, the volunteers, fire crew, ambulance crew, the photographers and officials for all their efforts and volunteering their time and spectators that came out to watch. Congratulations to all entrants and winners. 09.01.2022 Excited to announce that Scope building NT has been awarded the contract to build our new tower. CADRA looks forward to working with them to achieve a state of the art control centre. This a very exciting time for the club and we can’t wait until it’s completed, bring on 2021.
