08.01.2022 Membership Certificates for Victorian Members As part of our commitment to Victoria Australia Chapter members, the Executive Committee has agreed to provide annual certificates in recognition of current membership. Every ASIS International member who is allocated to our Chapter will be provided with a Membership Certificate for the current year. In addition, a Membership Pin will also be provided to each member contingent upon their years of membership.... In addition to formal recognition, your committee continues to explore ways in which we can provide educational and professional development opportunities. We are always appreciative of input from members about educational and professional development subjects. We look forward to continued interactions.

03.01.2022 Quadruple Hits on Victoria Website The multi award-winning Victoria Australia has experienced a substantial number of visits to its website during COVID-19 isolation. Each month the Chapter reviews activity on its website with a surprising increase in activity over recent months. During March and April activity remained constant with about 110 users through 140 sessions. However, in May 2020 there were 430 users through 500 users with 1,250 page views.... The above means there were about four times the amount of visits and related activity compared to the average. Presumably as online activity increased during isolation so to did interest in security, risk and safety. The Chapter Committee remains curious as to whether this increased activity will continue. Preliminary reviews in June suggest the peak has continued into the first two weeks in June. More to come in subsequent analysis of our website. http://www.asisvictoria.org.au/
