25.01.2022 NEW CASE: FAMILY IN NEED ( Needing Fridge & Double Pram) One of our Eritrean refugee families in Melbourne need a fridge and a double pram. Their fridge broke down last week and they have been without a fridge since then. They cannot store any food so insallah we can assist them urgently. Also they have 2 small children and need a double pram to help carry them. If anyone has a fridge or double pram they would like to donate? 22.01.2022 URGENT HELP FOR A SINGLE MOTHER!! PLEASE READ HER STORY, in her own words...... "I've learnt one thing never ask for anyone for help because one day they'll use it against you. I don't have family help or support at all. My extended family all say she's ok she's standing tall and strong she's managed why should we help out but little do they know my heart cries sometimes and sometimes I don't sleep. Sometimes I just want to give up and surrender and sometimes I just pray that Allah takes my soul so their dad can take over as his always said before to the kids his financially capable and your mum only has left u for Centrelink. Brothers and sisters what ever you believe in I don't care I don't differentiate I just love being helpful to everyone and humble and life is too short. We don't know when we will stop and take our last breath. I'm in desperate need of help. What else can I say my life is not good sometimes I sit in the park and wonder why but then I smile I say we're together that’s all that matters. My daughter wanted to commit suicide she said she doesn't want to be a burden on me. I said I'll protect you with whatever I can you’re my little miss my best friend. My financial status is Beyond belief Alhamduala, but I always try and make sure my kids have some dinner all the time even if it's something little. Allah puts baraka in everything. I'm asking for dua. I feel like it's all caving In on me and I'm choking bit by bit. I’m tired." .....SO NOW WE COME TO YOU with this story of a single mum of 4 children aged 9 to 17. She is currently struggling with a lot financially and emotionally. All of her children suffer with medical issues with one requiring a wheelchair which she has had to hire as she can’t afford to purchase one. Although she receives Centrelink she is having difficulty making it stretch with the amount of medical expenses she needs to pay for weekly. Her car which she needs to use regularly to attend hospital appointments needs work as well. She is also behind in household bills. Her ex husband has remarried but unfortunately is of no support to her or their children. Due to the sensitivity of this case I have had to leave her story very brief however would like you all to know this sister although she is facing major problems did not reach out for help. Her friend came to us asking for assistance. ANY MONEY DONATIONS WE CAN ALSO GIVE TO HER TO HELP HER FINANCIAL HARDSHIP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. 01.01.2022 NEW CASE: Wardrobe donation? A family in financial hardship need a few wardrobes which she can store/hang her childrens and her own clothing in. Unfortunetly they do not have built in wardrobes at the house either.
