18.01.2022 Our company’s Swedish roots certainly contribute to our commitment to the environment; after all, we have always had beautiful nature right on our doorstep. From the very beginning, caring for the environment has been an integral part of the ASKO culture. For us, it’s not just about how much we use, but also how little we waste in production, while our products are in use, and when they are disposed of. All our laundry appliances are built to last for a long time and remain water and energy efficient throughout their lifecycles. ASKO products are all marked for future recycling.

15.01.2022 ASKO was founded 70 years ago, near Lidkoping in Sweden. Since then, our love for what we do has taken us around the world, and we can now be found in 30 countries. Our principle of designing and building appliances with care and consideration can now be found all the way through a range that stretches from commercial laundry machines to elegant coffee makers, via wok burners, dishwashers, drying cabinets, combi ovens and much more besides.

13.01.2022 ASKO's story started in Sweden in the 1950s. A young farmer in Jung, saw the difficulties his mother was having. Washing her clothes by hand was wet, cold, time-consuming and heavy work. He dearly wanted to help her out, so he invented a machine for her a sturdy, steady, and reliable washer, made from cast iron and stainless steel. He knew that simply building a normal washing machine wasn’t enough. It needed to be a pleasure to use, well-made, functional, and built to l...ast. The first machines were made in a local workshop by farmers people who understood the value of functional, durable equipment. Soon enough, more people wanted one of their own, and in the decades that followed the ASKO range expanded throughout the heart of the home. Today, our products can be found in the kitchens and laundry rooms of households and businesses all around the world. They help enrich people's lives giving them more time and opportunity to spend time doing the things they really care about, as well as making our everyday household activities far more enjoyable. Our appliances have changed a great deal over the years. But, our first ever product was built with love, care, and a personal touch qualities that are still central to everything we at ASKO do today. So, in that respect, not much has changed at all.
