20.01.2022 Can you be content in a culture of never enough? You could do more. You’re not enough You didn’t get enough sleep You didn’t spend enough time with your kids... You could have been more productive, more creative, more organised More, more, more! Our internal dialogue pounds amongst the culture of discontentment we find ourselves in! And. Pause.... Epicurus makes a good point here. When do we ever stop, pause and reflect on what we DO have? If we keep moving the marker of success, satisfaction and/or contentment, then how do we know if and when we are already there?

15.01.2022 We are all bound to have internal struggles at some point in our lives. Think of a game of chess- there are the white pieces resembling the good thoughts and feelings vs the black pieces resembling the bad thoughts and feelings. We can get stuck in this competitive game of chess where we strive for the white to beat the black. Yet there are endless black and white pieces and plays that can lock us into a constant battle.... What if we perceived ourselves as the board? The board is not involved in the battle, it holds the pieces but it is not fighting. Then we can watch the pieces, and step back from the thoughts and let them flow without getting stuck in the battle! This frees up a lot of time, energy and effort ... https://youtu.be/dz_nexLqY_8

09.01.2022 Some clarity about Social distancing... think of it more as physical distancing. Let’s do it playfully and creatively whilst also having clear firm boundaries! I don’t think we need to say much, body language makes up most of our communication. ... So if you take a step back, and just observe, you will notice that most people follow suit. Easy. Done!

08.01.2022 Mental wellness and self care... what are we talking about exactly? There is so much we can do for ourselves and eachother...and small steps in any direction start the momentum for change. It’s the intention to improve ourselves that counts! https://www.instagram.com/p/BzBe8QiAiNJ/?igshid=53a7n2mlqqdr
