18.01.2022 A few warm days here in Sydney and boom! It's tick season! Our PhD students went on a bushwalk yesterday to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and this afternoon ...one of them found this little lady climbing the walls of her bathroom in Annandale! Talk about going for a hike! Luckily it was her that found it and not one of her three cats... Or rather, it found one of them! You can clearly see her "questing" in the first photo, where her two front legs are raised helping her seek out higher concentrations of CO2 and therefore a blood meal. A quick question for our DVM 2 students: what key morphological feature would help us to ID this beauty? And on a similar note, what questions might you ask during a consult to help with the differential diagnosis of a cat from inner Sydney presenting with difficulty walking?

01.01.2022 Story behind the cover September (50:10/11) Special Issue... 10th International Symposium on Fish Parasites This issue of International Journal for Parasitology contains invited papers on a wide range of topics on fish parasitology including reviews on current issues and new research results; many by the invited speakers to the 10th International Symposium on Fish Parasites (ISFP). This year the 10th ISFP was going to be held in July in Cairns, Australia, jointly with the Australian Society for Parasitology annual conference, but due to the COVID-19 outbreak it has been postponed until July 2021. All articles in this issue contribute significantly to our understanding of fish parasitology and create the framework for discussions at the 10th ISFP in 2021. Nowak, B., 2020. Editorial. Int. J.
