18.01.2022 BLAST FROM THE PAST #2 Clark Residence Killcare In 2012 we became enviroarch Australia and this was the first of our design and construct projects.... This dwelling was shortlisted to be on the early episodes of Grand Design Australia, but unluckily missed out. Everything was considered for long term durability in the harsh coastal environment. Blockwork, concrete, Metal Cladding, Polyurethane steel structure and electropolished stainless steel as a few examples. All items within the building take a drink from a 28,000 litre rainwater tank, featured in a precast concrete corrugated tank on the front façade. Only the kitchen tap draws from the water main. Suspended polished Ultrafloor concrete slabs for high thermal mass and a grey water re-use system for external planted areas. 07.01.2022 BLAST FROM THE PAST #1 This week we will show a few of our projects over the last 10 years. Some we designed, some we built, and some we did both. ... Feature #1 - Camarsh Residence Buttaba. We Designed this dwelling way back in 2011 under our previous name Zaia Architects. Built by McGowan Builders. The building received a commendation at the Institute of architects awards that year. Very steep, tricky site with a glass lift connecting the 3 levels looking out over Lake Macquarie. The orange powder room floor tiles was a client tribute to the West Tigers. NEXT UP...CLARKE RESIDENCE KILLCARE 2012

In early 2021 we will be interviewing for a Trainieship in architectural drafting.... If you are interested or know someone who may be, please submit a resume now.
