21.01.2022 COVID19 - What are ASPECT Z doing? As an essential service, we are currently operating as allowed under NSW Health Guidelines. An array of implementations have been put in place to ensure we follow protocols with a brief overview as follows:... -Building sites have an individual Covid plan, circulated to all involved on that site. Sites all have a QR reader. -Sites have hand sanitiser. -Numbers of trades on site are being limited to facilitate safe working distance. -Masks are encouraged and used in accordance with HIA guidelines. The office has a QR check in, however currently we are taking zero visitors to the office. Our office currently only has Paul working in-situ. Other employees are working remotely to limit contact. Whilst we are currently not having face to face meetings with clients, we are able to conduct a Zoom meeting or otherwise continue interactions with normal processes (Phone, email etc). In the current situation, both design and construction projects are taking longer to implement and complete. We ask for your patience in this regard as we are doing our absolute best. See you all the otherside of lockdown!

18.01.2022 A great start to our Norah Head project today. Concrete...concrete and more concrete removed and a succesful frangipani relocation. And Andy's new machine is a stunner!



17.01.2022 A big week of excavation, concrete and plumbing complete at our Narara project. 10,000 litres of rainwater tank storage on this job with 100% of roof collection. 17.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Well the Government had said we can go back to work, which we of course appreciate greatly. Processes are in place for all Aspect Z sites moving forward to ensure we meet controls as required.... KEY IMPLEMENTATIONS: -Aspect Z is a registered Covid safe business. -Site specific NSW Health Covid plan created and circulated. -QR reader provided on all sites. -Sanitiser and detergent provided on sites. -Distance and maximum number requirements to be implemented. We also have a current requirement for any persons that have attended recent protest activity to be banned from site unless a negative Covid test can be provided. If this offends anyone so be it, but we are very focussed on keeping everyone safe and not adding in any way to the current problems. Looking forward to moving forward safely. 14.01.2022 Hi Everyone. We have had it good for a long time, now a 2 week rest on construction. Our office remains open for design, documentation and ongoing preparation for a reboot to all construction jobs in a few weeks (fingers crossed).... Take care everyone.

12.01.2022 APPLES for APPLES on GRANNIES? We often have potential clients for Granny flats who may be looking at multiple companies...this is all fine and normal. Our question is whether your comparisons are apples for apples?... Some key things to look at; 1) Is the verandah included? 2) Are the ceilings 2700 3) Is the glass Low E? 4) Are the buildings architect designed? 5) Does the tapware have a 15 year warranty.? 6) Are the verandah post and beams merbau or painted treated pine? 7) Are wardrobes fitted out (Including drawers). 8) Is the flooring engineered flooring or a cheaper alternative such as Hybrid or laminate? 9) Are wet areas full height Tiles? 10) Is the building Passively Designed for occupant comfort all year round? All of the above items are standard in our Grannies. If you feel another product is cheaper there is usually a reason for that. We offer to anyone now to do an item by item comparison of product. 12.01.2022 Handover day today at our Narabeen Granny. Its been a long project heavily impacted by Covid and material shortages. Luckily our understanding clients Mark and Angela supported the difficult journey and the results are fantastic.... Special thanks to the trades and suppliers involved, outstanding effort and quality.

11.01.2022 A great way to end the year with the handover of our first commercial project at Green Point for Central Coast Spinal Care Centre. Thanks to our clients Bryce and Angus for your support on the project.... Well done to all of our trades who put in some extraordinary hours to get the project finished pre xmas. Special mention to Nathan at Aspect Z who was involved in every aspect of the project from demolition to final clean. Aspect Z are now closed for the Xmas break and will return in 11th January 2021.

Three important methods to build long term relationships with your builder. 1) Do Quality work.... 2) Be reliable. 3) Never overcharge - keep costs reasonable and the long term benefits will far outweigh a short term burnt bridge . We have only ever used one Waterproofer. A great example of just ticking all the boxes.

Due to the current COVID outbreak across the Sydney area, our work on these days will be limited to the Central Coast region only.
