It has a wide range of applications across a broad spectrum of people. For us at Aspen, we love how it highlights and help us draw attention to HOW the body in coordinating itself, and how CONNECTED we are. When things are disconnected or out of balance we are placing unnecessary stress on our nervous system, joints, tendons and mu...scles. 02.01.2022 Finding your favourite way or place to sweat can take some time but once you do it can be one of the most powerful ways for growth both physically and mentally.... Joe from our Karrinyup store has been going to Aspen Coaching in Mt Hawthorn for a little while now and we thought wed check in with how his journey is going. // How is your training going? I feel like Ive reached some personal fitness goals there and I always have something new to work on goal to aspire to and build towards. Theres no quick fix though; you need to put in the work, take time to learn and take on feedback. What sort of training do you do? I love working on rings, bars and throwing in occasional handstand work. The coaches at Aspen take good care of you and will always make sure you are developing and learning in some way. Whats a skill or goal youre working on? At the moment Im working towards one arm chin ups which Ive discovered are very very hard but its something to aim for and really enjoy the journey towards. 02.01.2022 How much time do you spend in front of a computer each day? For most people it will be between 5-8 hours. Plus if we add in time on our phones and time in front of the TV it starts to become a significant amount of staring at a screen. Some of this can't be avoided but we can certainly choose to create some positive habits around it. When possible, take your computer work to the floor, standing at your desk, taking regular movement breaks, stretch while watching TV. Small habits each day will build to great things over time.
