12.01.2022 To all our fabulous volunteers out there, we just wanted to check in and make sure you're doing ok? We miss our regular catchups to clean our beaches and streets but most of all we miss seeing familiar friendly faces and can't wait to see you all again. We know many of you have been picking up litter while out on a walk to get some much needed air and exercise. Thank you so much for that. If you do continue to collect litter on your walks, please do wear gloves and be safe and if you're inclined, download the Litter Stopper App so you can upload information about the cleaning you've done. The data is important and valuable. Thanks again, stay healthy and connected. http://litterstopper.com/index.html

06.01.2022 What a great idea!

06.01.2022 Thank you to all of our wonderful Aspendale beach patrol volunteers for a special clean this morning. In light of the Corona virus, BeachPatrol and Love Our Street have decided to not hold any group cleans after this weekend until the public are given the all clear by relevant government agencies. The Federal government has urged no gatherings greater than 500 anymore. The spread of the virus has to be limited and by avoiding groups of people getting together is one impor...tant way. We want all our members to stay healthy so we can get back to cleaning after this period has passed. In the meantime the litter will not stop and we still want to keep pressure on authorities about the size of the problem. We encourage members to still do their own cleans. Your collection data is still important and you can enter it on our app called LitterStopper. Free to down load from the app store. Select Standard BeachPatrol/Los clean as the clean type. Then enter the data as prompted. The data will stored on a central website we put up. www.litterstopper.com/emaildata. You can review it and also see what other people are finding on their cleans. Don’t forget, after a clean wash your hands with soap thoroughly. Hope to see you all on the beaches or in the streets once this has passed. Thank you BeachPatrol

04.01.2022 We are certainly finding plenty of butts at every clean up.

02.01.2022 Finally! Victoria will get a container deposit scheme!! Great work beach patrolers, as all our hard work cleaning beaches and collecting data specifically on cans and bottles has paid off!!
