19.01.2022 A Junior Jivers Mum has lost her phone. Have you seen it? Hi everyone! Unfortunately I dropped my phone right out the front of Aspendale Primary (next to skinny's) and someone has picked it up! The location last showed my phone was at the school oval. It would be great if you could check with your kids. My phone holds invaluable photos of my kids. It would mean so much to get it back!

A mum to Ruby and Zoe, ...Sarah does photography for a hobby and came up with the idea of photographing families during Co-Vid called 'At The Front Door', safely capturing this unique moment in time, on your doorstep. 'At The Front Door' intends to spread some joy through this challenging time, and to focus on the positives of staying home whilst supporting a very worthy (and local!) cause. In exchange for a donation, you receive a casual family portrait, at your front door: $25 donation - one photo $50 donation - three + photos Photos taken at a safe and acceptable distance Only takes 10 mins, the vibe is totally casual and comfortable and pets are encouraged to be included For residents of Parkdale, Mordialloc, Aspendale and Edithvale. 08.01.2022 Dear Families We are looking forward to returning to Playgroup for Term 3 and we hope that many of you will chose to join us again. Playgroup will be taking on a very different format for at least the duration of Term 3. With this in mind, we hope to provide a more structured program for local families to enjoy with their babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Rather than running playgroup as we have previously done with much free play, our Term 3 program will be a music based p...rogram, similar to the current Junior Jivers program. Each child will be provided with their own box which will contain musical instruments and other gross and fine motor skill building toys. Only members of that childs family will be allowed to touch the contents of the box provided to their child. Our program will be shorter and currently (as of 23/6/2020) limited to 10 children per session (20 people/group based on 1:1/child:parent ratio). We will run 5 (FIVE) sessions throughout the week and ask that you commit to ONE of those sessions TUESDAY 9:30-11AM WEDNESDAY 9-10:30AM WEDNESDAY 11-12:30AM FRIDAY 9-10:30AM FRIDAY 11-12:30PM At each of these sessions parents will be expected to be hands on and interactive with their children, adhere to all current government requirements in regards to social distancing and also assist with cleaning at the end of each session. At the conclusion of our structured time we will move outside for Morning tea/Lunch. Tea and coffee will be available for parents. Children must bring their own snack and drink bottle and no sharing of food is permitted. Any food served for adults MUST be in individual serves. We would ask that all families interested in returning to Playgroup for Term 3 please message us via the Aspendale Playgroup Facebook Page or email [email protected] with 3 (THREE) preferences of time slots. At this stage we will be taking no new enrolments other than those that contacted us at the conclusion of Term 1.
