24.01.2022 Yesterday I sat on the beautiful beach watching the waves swoosh along the sand, cleaning all the grains. Eagles majestically gliding over our heads watching over all the world. Trees swaying in the breeze in time with the sounds of nature. Clouds fluffing alone in the blue mists of the sky. Ya OK I'm not a poet and i know it.... It got me thinking we have such a beautiful place we live in, our world. We are in a bit of a turbulent time though one things helping me is just bringing it back to basics, appreciating what we have, doing the simple things. Simplicity, uncomplicated, easy.

22.01.2022 Exciting news for Aspire 2 Life team came today. We are now a DVA Community Nurse provider. What that means we will be able to support our Gold Card Veterans in their own homes. Very exciting for us all here at A2L. Its been a long time and a lot of hard work getting her and lots more to come. ... Further news later on, just got to get our heads around the new processes. The motto for this is, If you really truley believe in something keep going and trying, believe in the process and take it all in. Have great moments everyone.

21.01.2022 Are you unhappy with your current Home Care Package provider and looking for a better service that costs less. Do you need a change. Home care packages are available at lower rates to your package so that means you receive more care for the government funding. We have top notch experienced Support Workers. ... We don't have corporate over heads. We keep costs down so you get a better deal and more services. I recently heard someone was telling a new client that we don't have a local office. That is correct. My office is where you are, my car, or even in a park. Keeps the cost down and we get to spend more time with our clients. There is nothing better then sitting around the kitchen table having a good natter about you and what your goals may be, adventures you would like to have, or what you may need to keep you home. 18.01.2022 So the latest update. We are now a official Provider for NDIS participants though not registered as yet. We can assist participants that are Self managing and Plan managed with services starting with home supports, community access, personal care, developing lifestyles. Support Coordination is available. How exciting is this for our little service to be adding such opportunities for many.

17.01.2022 I was with a very sad situation yesterday with a family, who's wife, mother, sister had taken her own life as she was struggling so much with who she was and her condition and the reality of her future due to her ailing health. So many reasons. We can't judge, just love. ... People choose. We just love each other.

16.01.2022 Day by day we at A2L are doing what we need to do and more to ensure our clients are safe and secure in their homes. Our message to all our clients is we will continue services the best we can.

16.01.2022 How time has flown away over the last couple of months. Here at A2L we are in the mists of amazing growth and development. Each day someone new shows up and gives us all more joy and happiness to help and support. Caring gives us all just that Joy and happiness that just by being with others and supporting them through various times. Over the past couple of months we were all determined to ensure not one of our clients or staff were affected by the COVID 19. ... Everyone banded together with style and grace and put their caring shoes on and everyone, staff and our clients went the extra mile to make the isolation times easier. Not one went without toilet paper just to add. Growth and Opportunities is what I love seeing. And watching others emerge into who they have always wanted to be. Just awesome. Some big news coming soon. Hold onto your hats its going to be amazing.

13.01.2022 The Team at A2L have had an exciting and educating week. We have been able to admit out first NDIS participant in Hervey Bay and help support another in the Murgon area and join their team. We are able to offer Self Managed and Plan managed support so far and doing everything, as we can see, to follow the NDIS instructions to provide services. Still nutting out the NDIS system but like many others, its seems its a work in progress. Here we go. exciting times ahead.

13.01.2022 Here at A2L we are expanding rapidly simply by being true to what we believe in, joy peace and gratefulness and most of all creating opportunities for others. We recently arrived in Bundaberg and have 2 amazing Support workers there ready to Spread more care and support to others. Home Care packages for our older generation and NDIS participants. Large array of services. ... I was sitting with a client the other day and they asked 'What can we do for them'. I turned it around and ask 'What would you like in your care and then we will work out how we can together achieve this and work for your goals'. 13.01.2022 Its really official now, there is Only a few days to go before we become a Registered NDIS Provider. How exciting is that. Looking forward to all the possibilities, the challenges, the different types of care. One of my main reasons for going out into my own business is to create opportunities for others. we certainly are achieving that. There are a few other things cooking in the back ground as well that will come to light soon.... Some say Don't get to big to quick. I say the Universe doesn't give you what you cant handle. Busy and lots on is a Superpower so lets create an exciting adventurous bunch of awesomeness. Whose coming along for the ride, its going to be fun. 4 days to go.

01.01.2022 Was such a wonderful and grateful experience yesterday receiving this message from one of our beautiful clients. Its a wonderful feeling for all our Support Workers to know they are rally appreciated and loved. thank you Linda for the opportunity to support you I was looking for your address, to write and send my thank you.. But this will have to do... I want to thank all of your workers who have supported my recovery after my hip replacement in June. All those carers have... gone above and beyond, but never overstepped the their position of allowing me to do as much as I could for myself. As my goal is to "regain my life", I am very much on my way to that, due to the support and attitude of your workforce.
