03.01.2022 Friday frustration. Succesion plans for farm families developed by professionals that do not adequately consider the long term viability and cashflow of the farm business. Way too many out there.

03.01.2022 Thinking about long term impacts of COVID-19 livestock enterprises and management responses to address same. A 2017 report for MLA by @MecardoAnalysis, among a variety of things for sheep markets, looked at spreads between OTH and saleyards. COVID-19 likely to make spread wider?

02.01.2022 Preparing GIS maps in QGIS. A good job inside for a Friday afternoon. I have found it to be a great tool for planning capital works with farm business owners/managers (especially fencing and water supply).

02.01.2022 Not my normal scene or job. In Brisbane with work for Sugar Research Australia. Nice spot. Wetter than home.
