07.01.2022 SCARLET RUNNER BEAN AKA SEVEN YEAR BEAN This variety produces long green and flat pods. Known to be a perennial in mild and frost free climates. Best harvest is in the first year but will die back in winter and shoot again the following spring for around seven years. Produces attractive red flowers. Sowing time - Spring and summer (needs 18-25 degrees C) - Avoid Frost and in tropical climates avoid hot and wet times of the year. Prefer sunny position, An excellent contribution to the vegetable garden!
