24.01.2022 "Is Cardio actually good for fat loss?? " While there is some truth to this I'm going to present FACTS and get you to see the big picture. Example: I have many clients who do 30-45 mins of low intensity treadmill incline for "fat loss" daily. Our body readily wants to metabolise carbs so in order to switch from carbs to fats takes a lot of effort. ... The graph above shows the % of FAT to CARBOHYDRATE used during prolonged exercise duration. ANSWER: < 30 minutes - C: 50-F :50 < 40 minutes - C: 45-F :55 > 70 minutes - C: 42-F :58 > 100 minutes - C: 40-F :60 Looking at the values, doing 40 min of low intensity exercise is pointless because by the time your body starts to change fuel source, most people will get off the treadmill. And the ratio from 40 min to 100 min is very minimal.
