23.01.2022 What an awesome weekend, sun, fun and a great day spent being a part of the City of Onkaparinga Christmas pageant. Thank you to all my students and their families for making the day a success! A special shout out goes to the Elliot Family for the loan of their awesome trailer, to Natalie for being my extra special Christmas helper, Jake my wonderful husband for getting us safely to the end and to my mum Debbie and Peter for being the super festive high 5ing guides! I will add some of the awesome videos that you guys sent in, in the comments. (Cant seem to add them to the post) Please feel free add any photos to the comments too. Thank you again and cant wait until next year.

22.01.2022 Lets give a very warm welcome to our newest teacher, Miss Courteney, to our beautiful music family. Courteney Hooper grew up in a musical family in the Clare Valley. She has played piano from a young age and picked up other instruments throughout her childhood. She studied music throughout her schooling years, involved in choir and played piano in the school jazz/soul/funk, concert and rock bands, performing at a range of events such as Balaklava Eisteddfod, Bundaleer Forest... Festival and Festival of Music at Adelaide Festival Theatre. She graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Education Studies in 2019 and is currently a performing musician at a range of regular venues as well as teaching piano/vocals/ukulele/guitar in the south of Adelaide. Miss Courteney Hooper Music, will be offering * Beginner Group Ukulele/ Vocal lessons ( With the goal to move up to guitars) * Private Vocal * Private Piano / Vocals * Private Guitar * Private Piano * Private Guitar/ Vocals These classes will start out on Monday afternoons, please contact Miss Tamzin on 0418 337 101 to discus your or your childs needs and we can recommend the best class.

Our COVID PLAN inline with New Government Recommendations regarding social distancing, AMA have implemented the following changes to keep both our staff and our much loved music families safe.... *Students attending the Studio: Please do not attend if you or anyone in the family is ill or starting to show symptoms of COVID-19. Wash your hands on arrival. There will be hand sanitiser at the front desk or you can use the kitchen area to wash your hands with soap and water. Staff have surface sterilising wipes that we will clean the rooms after each lesson. *Students attending at school in Caravan: Please do not attend if you or anyone in the family is ill or starting to show symptoms of COVID-19. All students will be provided with hand sanitiser before entering the van. Windows and doors will remain open to provide ample ventilation. Extra chairs have been provided in line with social distancing recommendations. Staff have surface sterilising wipes that we will clean the van and instruments after each lesson. Please keep safe and we will keep you posted on any further developments. AMA

16.01.2022 Dear Aspiring Musicians Academy families, It is with a heavy heart that AMA will be suspending all classes effective immediately. This includes both studio and school classes. We will be putting together some at home practice videos to help our students maintain their current skills. I will also be working towards alternate teaching delivery systems and am hoping to have an alternate solution soon. Ill keep you posted.... We have really appreciated the kind words of love and support that we have received. Just trust that we will be back, I dont know how that looks at the moment, but just know that I am committed to sharing my love and passion of music to all my students. *All auto payments have been suspend immediately.* For all students that have had cancelled classes, your account has been adjusted and a credit applied. 12.01.2022 Hi Guys, Welcome back to Aspiring Musicians Academy for 2020. Classes for 2020 start Monday 3rd February. All students are already enrolled into their existing classes and times from 2019. If you are not yet registered into any classes or you have changes that you would like to make please reply to this text and I will help you out. We have new classes opening on Wednesday afternoons with Miss Courteney. Let me know if you are interested in private or group, guitar,ukulel...e,keyboard and/or vocal classes.
