17.01.2022 For anyone who blinked and missed it, May saw the release of 3x3 video streams for Microsoft Teams meetings, as well as a useful 'raise hand' feature to help manage a larger group of participants. With daily active users doubling to over 75 million last month, now is a great time to start your Teams journey. Check out the linked video to see what 3x3 video chat looks like in action. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uOce478DxA
14.01.2022 Finally some good Security news for those who have made the switch to Win10. Kernel Data Protection (KDP), (which helps protect against data corruption based cyber attacks) has been released in the latest Win10 Insider Build. If your hardware supports virtualisation-based security (VBS) you'll be able to take advantage of this technology. https://www.zdnet.com//microsofts-new-kdp-tech-blocks-mal/
10.01.2022 Great news for those using MS Teams for their teleworking and VC! Support for up to 9 simultaneous video feeds (increased from the current 4) is planned for roll-out this month, and follows recent updates that allow for custom background effects. Nice to see Microsoft responding to demands for these features. https://lnkd.in/g-S6Tpm
