04.01.2022 ARTICLE In the local MANASHNI FRESH FRUIT ICE CREAM - FOOD FOR YOUR SOUL In your lifetime, you would have eaten ice creams of different brands, types and flavours. However, if you haven’t tried his fresh fruit ice cream, you haven’t lived life to the fullest.... On 3rd October 2020, an entrepreneur was born in Sydney. A person who’s name is synonymous with food, he who has created Parsi, Iranian and Moghlai dishes and one who has mastered the delicate art of tickling your taste buds with flavoursome ice cream. Whilst the history of ice-based frozen desserts date back centuries, ice cream recipes first appeared in England in the 18th century. Since then ice cream makers have come and gone; however, Aspi’s fresh fruit flavours are here to stay and evolve further. Aspi Shahlori is well known in Sydney, especially within the Zoroastrian community, and needs no introduction. With the support of his wife Dolly, and children Zeeba and Darian, Aspi has catapulted into his latest business venture in creating unique ice cream flavours. Operating out of a van, Aspi is currently located at 638 Old Northern Road, Dural (next to IGA and The Post Shop) and is ready to delight ice cream lovers on weekends and public holidays from 11am to 6pm. Lick it straight out of a crunchy waffle cone or, if you will, spoon it off a bowl. Aspi’s unique concept in Sydney focuses on fresh fruit flavours such as mango, chikoo (sapodilla), watermelon, strawberry and mixed berries. And as we move ahead from one month to another, be on the lookout for the introduction of more seasonal fresh fruit flavours. For the health conscious, dairy-free options are also available on request. Aspi caters for large orders, be it for parties or functions, and your guests are bound to love it. Food for your guests’ stomach is not enough - there must be Aspi’s fresh fruit ice cream for their soul. An average human tongue is around 3 inches long having between 2,000 to 4,000 taste buds. The sensory cells in the taste buds, responsible for how we perceive taste, renew themselves every week. This is one more reason, why you should visit Aspi’s on weekends, to treat your sensory cells that get renewed each week! Aspi’s fresh fruit ice cream on your tongue, is indeed food for your soul. The flavours of Aspi’s fresh fruit ice cream Will tickle the taste buds, even in your dream Mango, chikoo and also mixed berries Juicy watermelon or red strawberries Try it in a waffle cone or eat off a bowl Not just the stomach, it’s food for the soul By Adil Dorabjee

02.01.2022 Thank you to Betsy and our local hornsby group..
