19.01.2022 Thanks to Dr Kelly McGowan for giving us an engaging presentation on practical ways to identify patients at higher risk of medicine related osteonecrosis of the jaw! Thanks to all our members and guests for attending the dinner meeting last Monday, and to the team at Clovely Estate for preparing the beautifully presented delicious three course dinner!

04.01.2022 SYNOPSIS The course will start by outlining non-surgical therapy as the fundamental basis of periodontal treatment. Non-surgical therapy is well standardized and very effective in most of clinical scenarios to result in significant improvement towards patients dental condition and quality of life. In the treatment of deep intrabony defects, surgical management is often of benefit. The course will thoroughly define advantages and limitations of a simplified surgical approach, the Single Flap Approach (SFA), specifically designed for the treatment of deep intrabony defects. In particular, the possibility that SFA may enhance condition for wound stability, leading to eventual periodontal regeneration, will be discussed when used in conjunction with regenerative technologies (4 CPD hours).
