23.01.2022 The one thing I miss most this year is the volunteer work I do. I absolutely LOVE giving back and helping others. Unfortunately due to covid I’m unable to fulfil this role at present. I received an email last week from the Women’s and Children’s hospital asking for donations for kits they are making as care packs for nurses. I replied back straight away to say I would love to donate. Yesterday I went shopping to buy the gifts and this morning I delivered them. I may not be ab...le to help in person but I’m trying to help in other ways. 19.01.2022 Yesterday was a really hard day! Just like everyone else my business has been impacted by what’s happening in the world. Many tears were shed yesterday as bookings for March, April and half of May were cancelled! I honestly can’t imagine my weekends without being surrounded by children, it’s what I absolutely LOVE! I’m going to miss it so so much I went to sleep last night feeling so deflated and upset but this morning I woke up feeling more positive.... How can I still interact with children especially at this very sad time. I came up with the idea Fairy Belle’s YouTube channel I’ll record videos to post on YouTube of storytime, baking, arts and crafts, nursery rhymes and learning colours/alphabet. I’m also working on other fun ways that children and I can still interact and see each other, I want to continue being apart of their lives

15.01.2022 At one of today’s parties, guests decorated wands made by me. After they decorated the wands, I tied them up and labeled the bag so they weren’t misplaced. Being super organised at parties and events is the key to success! I place activities and goodies handed out throughout the party into gift bags ready to hand out at the end of the party @asprinkleofmagicparties

14.01.2022 Tonight I had a special visit, Rachel from @littleoakphotostudio came to take photos of our caravan and me, to include in her covid tales book. It was so nice to step back inside our magical caravan Can’t wait to see the amazing book she’s creating to capture living through covid and how it’s affected businesses.

13.01.2022 Today was the most AMAZING day launching our magical caravan! I can’t explain the feeling of achieving this goal. 15 years in business all I’ve wanted is my own fairy and pixie shop a place children could visit and be themselves, have fun and create memories. 18 months ago I set a goal to make it happen and today it came to life. For the past year my 4 boys, incredibly talented husband and myself completely guttered a vintage caravan and transformed it into a magical space. T...oday I was surrounded by families and friends who have supported my business, it felt like 1 big family. The happiness I felt seeing all the happy faces, the giggles and the reaction when they saw the caravan was truly amazing! I felt incredible pride and gratitude especially to my wonderful husband who spent hours and hours working on my dream, I saw the behind the scenes and how hard he worked. He works away and when he was home, he was out working on the caravan. I did shed tears today thanking him as I’m so very grateful he made my dream happen. To my 4 beautiful boys who helped with the renovations, ideas, shopping and painting, thank you! To everyone who supported my campaign, THANK YOU so much! You are apart of this caravan in so many ways. I can’t wait to visit as many children and families across South Australia, I want to help make a difference and provide a happy space for them. I hope it makes you all smile when you see us at events and on the road. Lots of love Sarah x

02.01.2022 Happy New Year! I was so lucky to have spent the last 2 weeks with family I haven’t seen in 14months as well as precious time with my husband and 4 boys. I’ll be back in my fairy headquarters this Thursday 7th January ready for our best year yet! I can’t wait, everything I worked on in 2020 will come to life this year! ... I’ll be replying to all my messages and finalising upcoming bookings on Thursday. Tomorrow is our last day together on holidays
