My skin is feeling great and the peeling Im experiencing is minimal now which I am managing well with my after care products and really taking the time with my routine. 06.01.2022 I am so excited as today is the day I start my Cosmelan journey. My pigmentation and uneven skin tone is my biggest insecurity. It is also one of the hardest conditions to treat safely without causing more damage!! Even though I have managed it well the past few years with amazing skin care, I am ready to go that next step! Cosmelan works by decreasing melanin production and formation on the skin by inhibiting the enzyme tyrosinase. It is a 2 phase process. Cosmelan 1 is app...lied in clinic and left in the skin for 8-12 hours depending on your skin type. Cosmelan 2 is a topical anti-spot cream for home use. To be used twice a day for the first 4 weeks and then nightly for the following 5 months. You will also be using strict home care products for the following 6 months.
