Us, at Aztec Smash Repairs, would like to take the time to give you all an update on the status on our business relations in regards to the ongoing situation regarding COVID-19. During these testing times, Aztec Smash Repairs would like to reassure our customers that, unless advised otherwise by our governing bodies, we commit to remaining open (With the same operating hours). This means, that for us, we have taken the extra step... in ensuring that all our employees are safe and are maintaining good hygiene and health. We have reviewed and implemented the importance and need for cleanliness and safety in the workplace. All our employees have easy access to hand sanitisers, anti-bacterial soap, disinfectant wipes and gloves when necessary. We fully commit to our customers that we will operate to benefit those who have their vehicles with us at the moment, forthcoming bookings and future customers. We assure you all that we will try our very best to maintain the high standard of quality without the compromise of safety/hygiene. Please also be rest-assured that all our customers’ cars are detailed, Exterior and Interior, before the car is handed back, this has always been done, even before the current situation. 18.01.2022 Details about Stage 4 Limitations and what that Means for ASR Sure enough, these times have presented everchanging living and working scenarios. Often, it is hard to keep up with all the Changes! After many calls to our Union (VACC), it is clear that under the ‘Stage 4 Lockdown’ we are still able to operate and remain open, but there are changes: The work that we complete must be of an Essential Nature... What that means for AZTEC SMASH REPAIRS, is that we can only continue/complete repairs if the damage to your vehicle is compromising your safety and others on the road. Therefore, making the vehicle unroadworthy. While there is no clear definition as to what ‘Essential’ is, each job will have to be individually assessed. So, if you already have a future booking with us, please call (If Sam, has not already done so) to ensure that the repairs can still proceed without re-booking. These times have allowed businesses to re-think how they go about their work. More into ‘Contactless’ transactions. We are also, allowed to take on new jobs as long as they are essential! We have reviewed our Transaction process and would like to offer to Essential Jobs a new way we can operate! If your vehicle is in relation to an insurance claim, Most insurances will cover a Vehicle Tow to our shop with no extra charge to the customer, and We will be able to drive the car or get it towed back to your residents, upon Arrival, Sanitising your Car before leaving your Vehicle keys in a safe (Pre-Organised) Location. If your vehicle’s Damage does not involve an insurance claim, we are more than happy to pick up and drop off the vehicle at a distance within 10km of the Shop. Also, Sanitising the vehicle once it has been dropped off. Payment will then be all done via EFT, and you will receive a Receipt with Payment details on it (Reducing the Need for face-to-face transactions) We will also be accepting any detailed photos and quote requests through the Direct Message Function on Facebook or emails. We will endeavour to return your enquiry within 24 hours, with a follow up call/Message and any more photos that we may need. Throughout this current Stage, our Shop will Remain open (With the Doors, partially closed) but we have hand sanitiser available at the door! We maintain a well-Socially-Distanced, mask-wearing and responsible workplace! Above all, Remain Safe and Keep well! Thank you for all your support during these Times! We also acknowledge the contributions made by those currently serving to protect our country and are greatly thankful for their hard work.... We know that during the current tough times, getting a quote on car insurance can be quite daunting. Well, we would like to make it a little easier! As you are all well aware, the current day, Insurance suppliers now charge extra for choice of repairer and that extra cost can start at $100 and even be as large as an extra $250 on top of your annual premium! We think that th...is is both unfair to the consumer and the small business that battle to stay afloat during these unprecedented times. So, we would like to make an offer that if you chose to add Choice of repairer to your premium, in the unfortunate event that an accident occurs, we will discount your excess or reimburse you to the amount that you have had to pay for choice of repairer in that years premium. It has been a long and stressful week for us all and we would like to update that We will still be open Monday as we have been advised today (Unless any more updates over the weekend). ... We are open to ensure that current jobs are completed and a stable future for ASR is maintained. As we are still open and are taking every precaution to maintain a hygienic and sterile environment for all of our customers, their cars and our staff; Our message is this: It is also important that, we, all ensure that we stay home as much as possible and only leave the house when necessary! Our job here, to get your car repaired, is not as important as the job we all have in maintaining social distancing, hygiene and being in our own homes. 01.01.2022 As you all very well know, there is a numerous amount of help and support out in the community at the moment. It is amazing to see the kind hearted nature of everyone, even during these difficult times, to give to those who are in need of help and support. In October we can see that many people have decided to take part in the Unite to fight Cancer Campaign. A campaign that Challenges individuals to Walk (60km) or Ride (200km) to raise funds for the Peter MacCallum Cancer... Foundation. A great cause it is such that even one of our own Family members has chosen to take part (60km Walk) in remembrance of our biggest supporter/Father/Grandfather: JOE/Giuseppe who sadly lost his battle to Cancer 2 years ago. We know that Many of our lives are affected either Directly or Indirectly by Cancer and given that the Community have given all their support and Loyalty to us during these tough times, We all, at Aztec Smash Repairs would like to give back to our loyal Community.
