23.01.2022 The finished shower room with toilet. The positioning of the tiles was done in such a way as to minimise wastage as directed by the client.

21.01.2022 Our next project is underway....horizontal fence. This is just one example of the different types of fences we can create to enhance your home.

21.01.2022 Some small projects for Mr and Mrs J. A leaking roof from a badly fitting sheet of iron and a tiled verandah step which was cracking badly. Some other small jobs were done around the house. Fixing a sliding door which had sunk and was difficult to open, wallpapering, gutters cleaned and some bushes cut back on the roof and some window putty replaced. No job is too small.

14.01.2022 Old fence and gate on a tight budget. The existing framework was still solid so we re-used it. Handle was still in good condition so with a spot of oil, good as new. A pleasant project in nice surroundings.

13.01.2022 Well I've been so busy I haven't had the time to put up photographs so here's a few small jobs undertaken. Happy New Year.

13.01.2022 The wood next to this shower had rotted so bad it had turned to soft mush.The following photos show how it was fixed. The old tile was re-used and the area around the shower was sealed with a silicone sealant.

11.01.2022 Been busy doing a tiling job of a toilet, a downstairs shower room with toilet and an upstairs bath and shower room for Mr and Mrs C, this is the 6mm underlay cut to shape and screwed in place.

09.01.2022 Mrs Mac needed the gate to close properly and the gate posts were rotted away at the base. It was decided to put in new posts and re-do the fence, which was definitely wobbly. As always, the budget was tight so we re-used as much of the existing materials as possible, including the palings on the gate itself which will eventually become the same colour. Mrs Mac was delighted with the result at a very reasonable price.

09.01.2022 Beginning of the upstairs bath and shower room, after removing the old tiles and sanding the floor flat. Measuring and cutting the 6mm cement tile underlay.

09.01.2022 This fence and gate was looking tatty and the gate didn't close properly. The refurbishment used the existing posts and gate frame which were in good order for their age. After discussions with Mrs P this is what we came up with.

04.01.2022 Hi Folks, a short update of small jobs recently completed: 1. Grass cutting. 2. Six dining room chairs refurbished, taken apart, clamped and re-glued. 3. Fixing up door frames which had been damaged and re-painting them.... 4. Sanding and re-painting exterior door. 5. Advising a client on renovations to a house. 6. Advising a client on re-pointing brickwork. 7. Decorating a living-room, (painting). Two of the above jobs resulted in no work, one of which was to a house which had already been sold and therefore there was no real necessity for spending money before the final inspection of the new owners. The other job required the services of a registered builder as the project would have been upwards of $20,000, requiring an extension with en-suite and access for a wheelchair.

02.01.2022 A new window sill in hardwood for Mr K. Its often difficult to re-create the original wood shapes because wood stores no longer have them in stock. Of course you can always get Mitre10 to mill up a new piece exactly like the old but this can be expensive and most clients want the cheapest possible solution. We found a meribau doorstop profile which extended the window sill and made a good solid job.
