06.01.2022 Dear All, We have received this request from Assam on our website and I am posting it so that if someone wishes to contribute they can do so: From: Diganta Barman Subject: Rural Village Road Construction for needy people of Assam India... Message Body: Dear Madam / Sir, I am Diganta Barman living in a rural village -Dhalbama- in the outskirts of Guwahati Assam India. I am living in this village in the middle of a paddy field with my aging parents for five and a half years now. This village do not have any road connectivity to the main roads that connects to the nearby places like hospitals, schools, etc to meet the basic needs of survival. During the monsoon season which lasts for about 06 months in the north eastern part of India, living in this village with my aging parents is getting difficult as situation may arise when they will be needing medical attention. I did not approach to the government because it is unwise to spent tax payers money to build a road of 200 meters for just a single family and the government must have some other priority projects. This led me to think and crowd fund for building the approach road of 200meters from my home to the nearest safe place. My plan is just to raise the proposed road from its present level to a height of 1 feet, and to fill the road with gravel and stones to avoid formation of mud and silt during the monsoon season. I am crowd funding this in a global platform (GoGetFunding) and I request all to donate only $1 (USD 1) and not more than that. Even though my target is $5000 (USD 5000) but I do not want anyone to donate more than $1. I will try to reach to maximum number of volunteers who can help me in this move. Thanks for going through my fund raiser note. Click on the link below to donate Rs 72 only and share the link. https://gogetfunding.com/rural-village-road-construction-f/ If you need anymore information regarding my identity and authenticity of the project, kindly let me know at [email protected] and Mobile +91-9854150253 Kind regards Diganta Barman Guwahati, Assam, India https://www.linkedin.com/in/diganta-barman-43088aba/ Mobile +91-9854150253 -- This e-mail was sent from a contact form on Assamese Association (http://www.assaminaustralia.org.au)
