05.01.2022 Over $7000 raised at our second fundraising event at the Balwyn Cinema on Friday 7 September. On top of the amazing initial effort from the Torquay Pointers ,means that we have now raised about one third of the cost for Rosie the Service and Therapy Dog for our son Charlie. It makes my eyes a tad runny, (bloody hay fever),to reflect upon the incredible generosity in our community . Moving forward we need to get an idea of howany other Surf Coast families have a child with autism between 8 years and 16 years who would also benefit from an Assistance Dog to provide the amazing benefits like Rosie does in our family.
